Position Papers
A position paper is a short essay explaining your country/assigned individual’s policies relating to the topics of your committee.
Position papers should be submitted to committee chairs by Wednesday, November 2nd.
· Please send your position papers to your Committee Chair via email by November 2rd.

· Subject line of the email should read:
“[Committee Name]-[Country/Individual] – Position Paper GWCIA XVI”
ex. “DISEC – China – Position Paper GWCIA XVI”
· Only one position paper is required per delegation. Therefore, if you are assigned to a double delegation position only one paper is required on behalf of both delegates.
· In accordance with GWCIA Conference Policy, in order to be considered for an award a position paper must be submitted to the Chair.
· If you have any questions regarding committee topic, material, or procedure, contact your Committee Chair directly.
If for some reason you cannot submit your position paper on time, please bring a hard copy of it with you to the conference and give it to your committee chair immediately upon arriving in your committee room. It is also recommended that delegates print out and bring a copy of their position paper to committee on November 5th for their own use.
